Getting Ready
We picked up our "new" RV on Monday evening, July 28. The next few days have been spent on cleaning, organizing and checking out all of the working parts.
I'll have to convince Maria that we need to meet up with you in Zion to go hiking. I'd like another shot at that mystery creature that almost ate your Dad & I. - Dave
Looks like a great vacation! We've done it in a vanagon...a bit tighter! Hope you bought the National Parks Passport books so you can stamp your book each time you visit a site. Enjoy those icecreams Vicky!
We plan on starting our trip with a visit to Joe's brother Andy, in upstate New York. From there we will head to Niagra Falls. Next is a quick visit with friends in Michigan and then onto Minnesota. In Minnesota, we will visit with Joe's cousin Andy Kot and go to the Mall of America. Our next visit will be to Mount Rushmore. Then onto Yellowstone, Bryce/Zion Canyons and The Grand Canyon. We plan to check out the Petrified Forest in Arizona, and Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas. Our last stop should be the Arch in St. Louis.
