Home at Last
We arrived home at 3:30 pm on Saturday, and it was not an easy ride home. First, we ended up with a screw in the front passenger tire. Luckily we were at the gas station when it happened. Joe bought stuff to patch it. Then a few hours later, one of the belts broke which meant we had no power steering and no air conditioning. Then a few hours after that, the patched tire blew. All of this happened in Ohio. Not sure if we want to visit there again. The last repair was made at 3:30 am, and from then on we did not have any more problems. It was a challenge to drive the last 900 miles without power steering, but it could have been worse.

The Vacation Plans
We plan on starting our trip with a visit to Joe's brother Andy, in upstate New York. From there we will head to Niagra Falls. Next is a quick visit with friends in Michigan and then onto Minnesota. In Minnesota, we will visit with Joe's cousin Andy Kot and go to the Mall of America. Our next visit will be to Mount Rushmore. Then onto Yellowstone, Bryce/Zion Canyons and The Grand Canyon. We plan to check out the Petrified Forest in Arizona, and Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas. Our last stop should be the Arch in St. Louis.
Who knows how it will actually turn out!?!?
